For all the things my hands have ever held, the best by far is you.

Perhaps one of the closest things to my heart is capturing the unique bond between mother and child. To understand why this personally means so much to me, you have to know that by the time I was a young adult, my own amazing mother was already in the trenches of early onset dementia. By the time I was having babies of my own, she was physically here but gone in every other way. I have since found myself drawn to the few images I have of her and I together… yearning to see the photographs of her gazing at me with the endless amounts of love I remember her looking at me with when she could, the same way I look at my own children.

I always say my photographs are not just for my clients, but also for their children when they grow up. These sessions are even more so for your children. I truly know, first hand, how much they will appreciate these when they become adults.

Maternity Photography

I absolutely adore belly sessions! There is so much anticipation that goes along with welcoming a new little bundle into your family. It really is such a special time and let’s face it, our partners frequently don’t end up taking the most flattering pictures of us while we’re pregnant! Maternity sessions can take place in a scenic outdoor location or can embrace more of a true lifestyle feel by taking place in the relaxed setting of your home. Frequently, maternity sessions are included in a Belly to Baby or Baby’s First Year Collection, but can be booked separately as well.

Mommy Time

Offered during a limited time throughout the year, these sessions give us the opportunity to really take our time focusing on that unique bond between mother and child. These sessions are held in your home where we can capture some of those everyday life moments of you with your children. …picture your 4-year old’s face as you’re painting her tiny toenails or how perfectly your little guy snuggles into your lap as you read him his favorite story. The end result is not only a beautiful gallery of images for you to keep, but also a custom leather bound album that showcases them along with some very personal touches just for you from your littles. Mommy and Me Minis

Short and sweet these seasonal sessions are the perfect opportunity to get out there and capture a few shots of you with your babies, whether they’re just a few months old or heading off to college. These sessions occur in the spring and summer months in the Gainesville, VA area. (special pricing applies)
